I think I should thank American Quilter’s Society for much of the success of “Z is For Zinnia, C is For Cosmos” this past year. The quilt earned a third place at the Lancaster show and first place in Paducah last year. Presently, the quilt is juried into the Daytona show, which takes place at month end. Ann Hamel, Editor in Chief of American Quilter magazine asked me to create a small, simplified wall hanging based on this quilt. Today I learned today the issue is officially out, so I can now publish a photo of the wall hanging.
While this is a mini version of the quilt, I made sure to include the embroidery to retain the spirit of the original.
Here’s the cover:
To pass along Ann’s offer: if you would like to join AQS this month, you will receive access to the March digital issue upon joining and you will get six additional issues, which is an extra issue for the year. When you log into American Quilter, you have digital access to all American Quilter magazines back to 2013.
