Muckcross House and Gardens is located in Killarney National Park. We toured the home which I expected would be somewhat boring. I even thought about bolting from the group before the tour started and exploring the grounds on my own. Happily, I have to say our guide was interesting with a dry sense of humor. She opened a window so we could see the view the owners had enjoyed. Imagine looking at that scene every day.

We only had time to see a small part of the park. Some day I would like to return to take a horse-drawn jaunting car and travel throughout the park. Dingle was our final stop for the day.
