After writing for various fiber and needle art publications, Kathie became a contributing editor to American Quilter magazine published by the American Quilter’s Society in Paducah, Kentucky. During her seven years with the magazine, she wrote over 115 articles, interviews, and patterns.
Kathie has long held an interest in writing for children and has published non-fiction articles in several children’s magazines. Topics have included animal mummies, Yellowstone National Park’s coyotes, and the history of glass. She has two picture book biographies in process.
