I leave tomorrow for Ireland on a Food and Fiber Lovers’ Tour organized by Kathy Brassill of Handcrafted Holidays out of Tacoma, WA. I went with her and a group of seven to Scotland and England in September 2014 and am very much looking forward to this trip. I will post photos on FB. If the trip looks like something you are interested in, I recommend you contact her for next year. She has been selling out with a maximum of seven, she makes eight, for the past three years without any marketing on her part, showing you had fabulous the tours are.
Here’s the appliquéd, embroidered mini-version of Zinnias and Cosmos I’ve been working on for the American Quilter magazine pattern. When I return, I will do the quilting. You can see I managed to pin-baste it last night in between packing.
My house goes on the market next Tuesday while I’m gone. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have an offer to come back to? But know that while I’m hopeful, I’m also realistic. It could take six months. In the meantime, have a wonderful Labor Day holiday.
