Exhibit Opens in Japan

I’ve received the Japanese itinerary for the International Fairy/Folk Tale Challenge. There are three venues, with the show opening at Takumi-Cho Gallery in Wakayama Prefecture on November 20th. At year end the exhibition travels to France where there are two venues confirmed and two “in progress.” The quilts will finally come to the United States for exhibit in 2018. Whew! That’s a long ways off to finally see all 90 quilts in person. In the meantime, I have a mini-collage of the 30 quilts created by US quilters. It’s fun to see which tales you can identify by the designs. Mine is the third row down, far right, “How the Rainbow Was Made: An Ojibwe Nation Creation Tale.”

Thank you for putting this group of photos together, mine is the middle, bottom row. They all look wonderful, and the individual posts are great.
